Welcome to the Exam Registry

The Exam Registry free for University of Alberta undergraduate students to search and review copies of past exams. The registry is an excellent study tool for anyone who wants to practice for upcoming tests.

How Do I Search the Registry?

To search the registry, simply search any course in the search bar above. Search by course title, year, exam type etc. You will be required to log into our authentiation system with your CCID and password to download exams.

What if I Can't Find an Exam for My Course?

If you're unable to locate an exam on the registry, we recommend sending your professor a link to this registry! They'll be able to upload an exam through our portal. Professors may prefer to make their review materials available on their own website or on online platforms such as eClass. Although there are a few courses and departments (such as Psychology) that are traditionally exempt from releasing past course material for studying purposes, most are required to make their old exams available to students for review. If a professor or department does not want to release a past exam, they are encouraged to provide their students with “representative evaluative course materials” (ie: sample questions). Rules regarding the University of Alberta’s “Access to Evaluative Course Material Procedure” can be found here.
